Howards Princess gets the confident nomination in the opener with Bond Babe and Jerry's Girl the others for the shortlist. The selection has run well on both of her starts to date and she finished a good second behind Satin Finish last time at Ripon. That was on soft ground but she ran well on a faster surface on her debut so with no ground concerns she looks the one to beat. Bond Babe is a well-bred filly by Forzando and as her trainer Bryan Smart has a fair strike-rate with his 2-year-old's she has to be respected. Jerry's Girl made a promising debut over 5 furlongs at Carlisle when third behind Carte Royale, but she has disappointed in her two runs since then over 6 furlongs. However, she is dropped back to 5 furlongs here again which may bring about some improvement so she is worth consideration. A market move for any of the other newcomers should be noted, but for the winner we return to Howards Princess.
