Rae Guest's Zubova is best in at the weights judged by official BHA ratings along with the David Nichols-trained Jibrrya but is seemingly better on the Polytrack, while the latter has been well held in all three starts in handicaps this term since winning his maiden as a two-year-old at Thirsk in August so the pair look best left out of calculations. Paul Midgley's Bajan Pride is capable but inconsistent, while Bed Fellow was narrowly beaten by STELLITE over this trip at Hamilton last month and meets Jim Goldie's gelding on much worse terms today so the 10-year-old can frank that earlier form. The return to a mile should suit Stellite, who was outpaced over seven furlongs in an Ayr claimer recently. Howard Johnson's Makbullet could be of interest stepping up in trip but he is far from certain to appreciate it.
