ANGARIC was a course and distance winner last time and we expect him to repeat that victory here today, with Splash The Cash and Heureux offered up as the alternative. Grand Diamond also has claims. The selection relished the return to this extra furlong last time and just defied top weight in game fashion. This was his first success since winning over C&D in 2006 and his profile dictates he should be taken on again this time. Splash The Cash made it three wins from three outings at Catterick two starts ago, but failed to follow up when well backed at Hamilton last time. Form suggests the gelding is a rather inconsistent performer but he should do well here in fairly modest company and although getting the better of the selection looks unlikely he should make the minors. Heureux is yet to win a handicap and we expect the trend to continue, he is in good form of late though and is capable of making the frame. Grand Diamond stands out from the remainder. He has been running well over course at the last four attempts and though he has only made the minors once here he should prove sharper this time and can put pressure on the earlier mentioned. Angaric looks best in what should be a fairly modest handicap.
