Court Of Appeal is narrowly preferred to Tedstale and Just Observing. The selection is a prolific winner at this level and managed to scrape home in a lady riders event at Southwell last week. Seeing off an 82-mark rival on that occasion, there is nothing of that ilk here and he is likely to be priced accordingly. Tedstale was behind on that occasion but should get closer for professional handling. He wins his share but his previous run at Musselburgh left a lot to be desired. Just Observing comes into the reckoning on official figures. A winner of a maiden for Ed Dunlop, he has been kept to hurdling by current connections. Second Reef had become something of a professional loser on the all-weather for Eric Alston and invariably has excuses. Exit Fast had not shown a lot prior to his second at Southwell at this grade last month. A subsequent return to handicapping yielded little fruit. Court Of Appeal has all the ticks in the right boxes and looks the one to be on this Monday.
