        Verdict

        An uninspiring handicap in which Gone Too Far is taken to see off Tuscany Rose and Hugs Destiny. Gone Too Far isn't the most consistent of creatures but with his favoured fast ground and the likelihood of a chance to grab a soft lead, he might be worth a chance. Tuscany Rose is another who should like the conditions. Proven on this surface and with a recent run over hurdles under his belt, there should be few excuses. Hugs Destiny made no show over hurdles on his latest start and appears out of form at present. Cottam Grange is a maiden on the level and is exposed as plating class. King's Envoy has had a win on the all-weather over two miles but is another who hasn't shown too much on the turf. Front-running Kyber is respected if money is seen for him in the betting. A poor race by Musselburgh standards and Gone Too Far appears to be the most obvious call in a race lacking strength in depth.
