Verdict

The three-year-olds, two of which have travelled over from Ireland, face no easy task against battle-hardened older fillies in the day’s feature with Basil Martini beaten in this grade at Cork and Lady Onyx scoring over 7f on debut. Godolphin’s White Moonlight was second in a Group 2 in Dubai earlier in the year. She was too keen returning from a short break at Lingfield and better is expected here. Handicapper Espressoo is up against on these terms and the penalised Fast Response tries a new trip so this can go to HEREDIA, who came right back to form when runner-up to Azure Blue at Newmarket on her reappearance. The winner landed a Group 2 at York subsequently.
