      Verdict

      Monaadhil was a winner here last year but seems to run his best races on the Polytrack at Chelmsford. Just beaten over track and trip two runs ago, and more than three lengths ahead of Ahamoment, MERRICOURT missed the break next time at Ayr but still finished ahead of Oriental Lilly and Turbo Command. Chelmsford second Laertes may be improving so can’t be ignored.
