Verdict
Pressure Putt was good value for his reappearance success at Brighton at the end of April and is taken to follow up off his new mark, with Stonehaugh and Methusaleh rated the main dangers. The selection did not stay a mile last season as a juvenile but is out of a staying dam and should appreciate the trip now and is taken to actually improve for the extra furlong today. Mick Channon's Ahmedy drops back in trip but that is not certain to suit, while Zennerman made an encouraging return over six furlongs at Chester last time and is not certain to appreciate the longer trip or faster ground today. Ian Semple's Roscommon could anything after just the one start but is hard to evaluate and of more interest may be Stonehaugh, who looks to be going the right way. Methusaleh has improved with each start this term and has to be of interest but Pressure Putt makes plenty of appeal and he gets the vote.
