Verdict
Polish Power has carried over his good form on the all-weather over to the turf but there is a suspicion that a further 3lb rise for his latest success at Newcastle may just anchor the six-year-old and preference is for Finalmente, who gets the vote ahead of Blue Bajan. The last mentioned ran promisingly on his reappearance behind Miss Providdence and again when a close third behind Inchloch at Nottingham on Thursday but it remains to be seen whether this maybe comes too soon for Andy Turnell's gelding. Gerard Butler's Prime Number has disappointed in both his starts this term and may be best watched, while Simonda failed to progress as much as anticipated from her first start of the campaign. The vote then goes to Neville Callaghan's Finalmente, who was good value for his defeat of Quizzene at Newmarket last time and he is taken to follow up off his new mark.
