Very few of these, if any, are in particularly good form and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Desert Dreamer, who is preferred to Outer Hebrides and Pillars of Wisdom. The selection lost nothing in defeat behind Sir Mark Prescott's Spectait on the sand at Kempton last time and, off the same mark today, has to be respected back on turf. Grizedale has an inconsistent profile and is probably best watched, while Ocean Pride looks to be going the right way but may prefer a softer surface. Chris Wall's Keyaki made an encouraging return here over six furlongs last month and has to be of interest on that evidence with more improvement to come. She makes more appeal than Shogun Prince, who is held by Ocean Pride on running last time. Outer Hebrides has a bit to find with the selection on Kempton form and is better than he showed that day, while Pillars of Wisdom should improve significantly for her reappearance run as most of the yard's horses have done but Desert Dreamer has solid claims and gets the vote in the hope that he can reproduce the Kempton form back on turf.
