The consistent Take A Bow gets the nod over St Andrews and Weightless, while Pawan is overlooked in this company but still picks up appearance money for his connections for just turning up. Weightless has been found out in better races than this, so should appreciate the ease in grade. The ground is also a concern for Amanda Perrett's charge and he looks opposable on the balance of evidence. St Andrews is versatile regarding his preferred going and rates as a major player in this small field. However, he is not without his quirks and, as Phillip Robinson is required to ride at Epsom, it remains to be seen how he will respond for his new partner. Therefore, we prefer to side with Take A Bow, who has very few miles on the clock for a five-year-old and, with the benefit of a couple of seasonal runs behind him, this tough performer is fancied to enhance his already solid profile today.
