This does not look to be the strongest of contests and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Lone Soldier, who is preferred to Prince Adjal and Reedsman. The last mentioned represents the stable of Richard Guest that has been in decent form of late and, while the four-year-old is clearly one of the yard's lesser lights, he has to be respected at this level. Martin House ran one of his better races at Cartmel last time but needs to improve again, while Keith Reveley's Alethea Gee showed her first signs of ability when dropped into this grade for the first time here earlier this month. Seemore Sunshine ran better at Worcester on his most recent start and is another to consider although a bigger threat may come from George Moore's Prince Adjal, who has been running consistently in similar company of late. The one they all have top beat though is top weight Lone Soldier, who is only 4lbs higher than when scoring at Wetherby last month and a reproduction of that effort may suffice.
