Verdict

Not much form to go on and, as ever in these types of events, the market will prove an invaluable guide but marginal TEAMtalk preference is for Frankie Anson. Mick Easterby's charge was returning from an absence of 11 months when a staying-on fourth in a similar heat at Hexham last month and will surely take plenty of beating with the outing under his belt. Muscadin has not been seen since being pulled up on his sole start at Musselburgh in February. However, he started favourite and was travelling like the winner for a long way so could pose a serious threat while newcomer Mandy's Rose makes some appeal on breeding and should be noted in the exchanges.
