Verdict

Misty Ridge has been found a weak race and it will be surprising if Sue Smith's gelding cannot take full advantage. A winning hurdler, the TEAMtalk choice stepped up on previous efforts over birch when a close second over course and distance in late August and should progress further for the experience. The lightly raced Trusting Tom has shown some ability over fences but has been absent since early March when flopping on his handicap bow at Sandown and is best watched on this occasion. Archbishop does not look good enough while Deltas First has clearly had his problems.
