In depth

Verdict

FLEMMINGSBOND is the default selection in the finale and is sure to be popular. Warhead and Mad Moose have shown the best form of those to have seen action. The Henderson record in bumpers at Ludlow is well documented as you would expect given that he can boast a one in three strike rate and a level stakes profit. Throw in the McCoy factor and a decent pedigree and it would be no great surprise to see Flemmingsbond head the market. Warhead is an interesting raider having shown up well in a Dundalk bumper but the form of the contest isn't really working out. Mad Moose shaped nicely in a decent contest at Aintree when staying on quite well from off the pace; he'll know more now and should be a factor. Farmers Cross and Just An Ace are two more from respected yards that enter calculations but the selection is sure to be well primed for his debut and Flemmingsbond can provide a quantum of solace for punters by landing the finale.
