MICKMACMAGOOLE is a bit of an enigma but he has the talent and gets the vote to win first time up this season at the main expense of Wise Owl and Petrus De Sormain. The last four favourites have won this race so the market may well have its say, and money for the selection would be interesting. He has gone well fresh in the past and with the stable in good form it would be folly to ignore him. Also into calculations go Better Moment, a course winner, and Ramvaswani who could be interesting off bottom weight if back on song. Petrus De Sormain ran well when last seen in the summer, whilst Trevian could be a handicap blot off a mark of 101 but he does need to improve. Wise Owl remains a horse of potential and he is not badly treated on old form, however neither is Mickmacmagoole who gets the vote.
