The scheduled dozen starters here have just six runs between them, so any market support and moves should be noted; we'll side with a debutante and that's Richard Hannon's BRUNETTE, ahead of his other runner Ragsta and the most experienced Curtains. On jockey bookings Brunette looks the pick of the yard's two runners here, and she's got a couple of decent entries for later in the year. Those who think Hannon's runners come on for a run though may prefer Ragsta, second on debut (albeit in a field of four) on good ground at Bath earlier in the month. Her dam was a useful sort in sprints, and she's entitled to improve from that decent debut. Curtains qualifies for handicaps after this; third in her two runs to date, but she may prefer a little juice in the ground, after looking a little uncomfortable last time out. The step up from the minimum trip may prove handy. A close eye should be paid on the market, but tentatively we'll suggest this can go the way of Brunette.
