The last race on the Polytrack can go the way of GOOD BUY DUBAI, being preferred to Honorable Endeavor and Primo Dilettante. Jim Best's gelding is off a mark just a pound higher than his last win three runs back. That came with a little cut in the ground, but he's proved to be versatile, having also won on the Polytrack. He may go hurdling in time, but in the meantime should have another contest at this sort of level within his grasp. Honorable Endeavour steps up in trip after a decent second here over nine furlongs last time out on handicap debut. This slightly further trip shouldn't inconvenience, even though most family wins have come at a mile. Primo Dilettante races under a penalty after winning at Brighton earlier in the week, but that's all but cancelled out by having six-pounds claimer Kieren Fox on board. At this sort of level though, consistency can be rare, although connections must feel they've got a chance of collecting some prize money turning him out again quickly before going up in the weights. It may not be a race to live long in the memory but something has to win it, and our preference is for Good Buy Dubai.
