    Verdict

A very interesting maiden to finish off the card and from a shortlist of Evening Tale, Faited To Pretend and PADMINI, it is the last-named who is given the tentative vote. The Godolphin filly is out of a top-class dam who won the Irish Oaks (and is a half-sister to Spectrum) and there is plenty of class in the bloodlines. Her stable have an excellent record at the track with their two-year-olds and she looks worth chancing with the stable red hot. Mirror Lake and Roxy Flyer look like two interesting runners for Amanda Perrett. Roxy Flyer is a once-raced daughter of Rock Of Gibraltar who shaped with plenty of promise at Salisbury on debut. Mirabella is a runner who has shown ability in two starts; this Motivator filly may be suited by the return to seven furlongs this afternoon. Evening Tale is a well-related filly who has plenty of seven furlong winners in the family, Faited To Pretend is also related to winners but her dam's side suggests that she may need a longer trip in time, whilst French Fantasy and Dubai Media both contested decent races on their debut (the latter fared much better). Queens Envoy is another to consider fro strong connections but she needs to step up on just an average debut at Leicester to feature today. The market may help provide some good clues, however it is Padmini who is selected.
