Verdict

Recent winner PENTON HOOK is fancied to land the odds once again with Some Sunny Day considered the main danger. The selection was a winner here last time out, defeating Amazing Tiger at the odds of 20/1. His dam was a winner over ten furlongs so this trip should be within range and Peter Winkworth's gelding should run well. Some Sunny Day is a course and distance winner and Hugh Morrison's filly was not disgraced in a better race at York last time out. She is probably nearing the ceiling with regard to her handicap mark but she should give punters a run for their money. Lunar River isn't being cut any slack by the handicapper, Black N Brew represents a trainer who is in better form now however he has plenty to find with the selection on their run here last time, whilst Northern Spy is still 7lb higher than his last winning mark. Free Tussy completes the field; he might not be the most straightforward of horses but he certainly has the form to go close and the presence of the in-form Ryan Moore in the saddle must be considered a bonus. Penton Hook however gets the vote.
