A celebration of twenty years of all-weather racing at Lingfield begins with this 0-60 apprentice riders handicap. LA Gifted has a poor draw to work from and is passed over in favour of COLOMBARD with a big run expected from Philmack Dot Com. The selection comes into the race on the back of a good effort behind Cheery Cat here on Monday. He looks to be on a decent mark, should appreciate the return to seven furlongs, and this hold-up horse shouldn't be too inconvenienced by his wide draw. Torquemada's two most recent runs have been far from encouraging however it means that his handicap mark has now dropped and he looks a player if in the mood. Philmack Dot Com shaped with promise here back in January and his recent handicap debut over too short a trip was not a bad effort in the circumstances. He should come on for that run as well and he looks a big player with a top apprentice jockey aboard. Sign Of The Cross and Jiggalong have form from earlier in the season that makes them of interest, Mocha Java bounced back to form at Wolverhampton last time out, whilst course and distance winner LA Gifted should appreciate the return to the track after two average runs at Kempton. One More Round cannot be ignored despite his inexperienced pilot, but it is Colambard who is narrowly preferred.
