The second Listed race of the afternoon can go the way of APPLE CHARLOTTE although Greenisland and Moonlife should offer some stiff opposition. The last-named was last seen winning easily at Leicester in a conditions race and deserves this step back up in grade. A Kempton winner in the past, this Invincible Spirit filly should have no problem with the surface and looks a major player. However we prefer the globe-trotting Apple Charlotte. Henry Cecil's charge was last seen at Hollywood Park in California but was fairly well-held in a Grade One contest. She has been given time to get over that, the drop back to this trip will suit, and she also has experience of winning at this level. Roslaeen, Intense and Sarah Park all have a little to find on the ratings, however Ahla Wasahl looks a big player judging on her Ascot win last time out. Greenisland steps back up to a mile which won't be a problem and she comes here in good nick. She holds a couple of these on a form line through Strawberrydaquiri and along with the Irish challenger Russian Empress cannot be discounted. An open affair, however the classiest horse is Apple Charlotte who can land another sweet success.
