Just an average contest and even in a field as small as this, there is an advantage to be drawn high. Tickle has the best of the draw, and she, along with Gala Affair, Stand By, the not so well drawn pair of Silver Elite and Tychy, look the ones to concentrate on with the narrow vote going to the latter. Although she has yet to win over the minimum trip, she isn't short of pace, as she showed when collared close home at Carlisle, and although the Handicapper has seen fit to give her another 1lb, it shouldn't make too much difference. Silver Elite is unexposed and may be capable of improvement at this trip, while course winner Tickle will again be ridden by Seb Sanders, who has only finished out of the frame once in four rides on the filly. A bigger threat may be Stand By, who has been in good form on the All-Weather surfaces recently and can run off a 5lbs lower mark on turf, while Gala Affair will be all the better for her outing at Yarmouth last week and as a bonus, the Handicapper has dropped her 4lbs for that effort, which should ensure she is competitive.
