Atlantic City is selected to beat Serbelloni, Uncle John and Private Benjamin. Atlantic City is still a maiden but ran his best race for some time when chasing home Amwell Brave over the course and distance last month, with Gravardlax behind in third. He looked the likely winner turning for home and with the eye shield on again he must go close off his mark of 66. Serbelloni can prove to be the main danger as he shaped well when second to Kew Green at Wolverhampton. Although he was well held that day, he was running on well and the step up in trip should suit. Providing that he handles the Polytrack surface then Walter Swinburn's charge can be placed at least. Uncle John has been knocking at the door but always seems to find one too good, while Private Benjamin caught the eye when dropped ack to this distance last time and should be placed to good effect soon. For now though, we reckon it is safer to row in with Atlantic City.
