NOW YOU SEE ME may be able to leave her rivals trailing; amongst whom Rightcar Lewis and Muktasb could be in the mix. The selection beat Wibbadune on her final start for Ken McAuliffe in April and has only gone up by 4lbs for the success which seems reasonable given that Wibbadune went on to win her next three starts and scored again from a mark of 73 last month. Now You See Me's only subsequent run came in a Listed race at Chester in September where she had no realistic chance of challenging the principals; this is her level, she has course form and looks handicapped to win more races. Welcome Approach has won as many races on the all-weather in seven starts as he has in almost fifty runs on grass and he looks capable of adding to those wins from his current rating but he will always need the pace of the race and the gaps to fall in his favour. Muktasb is another solid handicapper who is now a pound lower than when last successful; he's finished in the money on five of his thirteen visits here and has each-way claims. Rightcar Lewis is at the other end of the spectrum in that she has had just four starts but she shaped quite promisingly on her handicap bow last time and could be suited by the step back up in trip. Tricky fare to begin the day with Now You See Me selected to take the honours.
