JENNIE JEROME can get the better of Miss Brown To You and Spring Goddess. The last two named both ran in a five runner contest at Great Leighs that also featured Naughty Frieda and Izzibizzi. Hayley Turner was allowed to dictate that race and did so expertly to the detriment of the other runners. They meet on revised terms and things are unlikely to turn out as well for Miss Brown To You again but further progress couldn't be ruled out as it was just her fifth career start and her first in handicap company. Spring Goddess has an excellent record at this track and should be in the mix but could probably do with having a pound or two less on her back as may Victoria Reel for whom things haven't really panned out the last twice. The selection has been quite well supported on more than one occasion but has so far only managed to get her head in front once which was on her handicap bow. It would be a little surprising though if she weren't capable of adding to her tally and the switch to this surface is expected to pay dividends and can see Jennie Jerome pick up the winning thread.
