There may be plenty more to come from Grand Apollo, who is selected over River Of Babylon and top weight And Toto Too, who takes a big drop in class this afternoon. A handful of the others have a small race within them and the likes of Morning After and Vonadaisy will no doubt have their connections scrutinising the entries for further openings before the end of the season. However, like a few of the rest, they fall a little short of the mark for recommendation here and others make more appeal. River Of Babylon being one that makes for a fair amount of interest. The Marju filly was good value for her four-length winning margin at Catterick earlier in the month, where she finally delivered on a series of promising performances. She holds obvious claims on these terms and has to be respected. However, Grand Apollo makes slightly more appeal from a punting perspective, as she hails from a yard that have a seriously good strike-rate with runners of her type. The Grand Lodge filly arrives here much fresher than the majority of her rivals and, with Kerrin McEvoy really catching the eye in the saddle, everything looks to be in place for her to make a bold bid to boost her paddocks value this afternoon.
