Velvet Waters, Belle Rouge and Albavilla are the three against the field in this wide open classified event, with the first named getting a tentative vote. Fulke Johnson-Houghton's filly has held here form well throughout the season and quite possibly put up an improved performance last time when third to Leg Spinner in a decent handicap. The drop back to twelve furlongs shouldn't be a problem and she should go close at a decent price. Belle Rouge has been a terrific servant for Con Horgan this season, winning on three occasions and finishing runner up in her other races, another bold bid can be expected. Albavilla disappointed a little at Kempton last time, but on a line through Leg Spinner has much the same chance as the selection. Pagan Music is also worthy of a mention in a very open event, but on this occasion we will side with Velvet Waters.
