Coach Lane has been in fine form of late but the gelding's only defeat in his last four starts came when upped to this trip at Chepstow and the Venetia Williams-trained gelding may have to settle for minor honours again with a better bet looking to be The Hardy Boy, with Bible Lord rated the pick of the remainder. The selection does not always find a great deal once hitting the front but, in the hope that Henry Oliver and the gelding's connections have picked up on that score as well, he looks worth another chance today. Gentleman Jimmy ran better at Ascot last time and has to be respected, while New Entic has more to do than when scoring at Newbury last time. Course and distance winner Dunsfold Duke did not show the same enthusiasm when eventually refusing two out at Kempton last time and now looks best watched. The lightly raced Bible Lord is open to more improvement and could be of interest on his debut in this grade but a safer bet looks to be The Hardy Boy, who gets the vote.
