Aux Le Bahnn had shown winning form in point-to-points prior to making a decent impression on his rules debut at Warwick in December and Noel Chance's gelding is taken to defy his penalty and score at the main expense of Callitwhatyalike and Ouragan Lagrange. The last mentioned has found one too good in each of his two starts so far and could be of interest on the all-weather for the first time. Blackthorn Boy ran creditably on his debut here earlier this month and is entitled to be thereabouts again, while Supreme Melody would need to step up on the form shown on her debut to trouble the judge. Banoo was well held on her first start over course and distance. Callitwhatyalike showed plenty of promise on her Ludlow debut and has to be respected but Aux Le Bahnn has solid claims and is hard to oppose.
