Satin Braid, Flower Of Kent and Fragrancy make the short list, with the selection being Flower Of Kent. Jockey bookings were unclear at the 24-hour declaration stage but Flower Of Kent and Tebee, both trained by John Gosden, have plenty to like on breeding and are ones to watch carefully in the betting. That last comment also applies to Michael Jarvis's Fragrancy, while Lady Traill is another interesting newcomer, having cost 120,000 guineas. Mutoon is related to winners, but the stable's horses are generally better for an outing, while Satin Braid has shown solid form without making the frame in two juvenile events and she too must be given some thought. Finally, Extravagance ran green when second on her racecourse debut and, even though that was not a strong race, she cannot be ruled out of a good run. Overall, though, the betting might provide a better set of clues but, without that, the vote goes to Flower Of Kent.
