Another open affair. Easter Ogil has been in top form of late and was a good winner of a handicap last time out when defeating Learned Lad. He is taking a drop in grade and will be hard to beat with conditions again in his favour. Butrinto won a seller over a longer trip here a couple of runs ago, but he was outpaced over this trip last time and he may find himself in the same situation here. Sudra was third last time out behind Bank On Him in a similar contest and she looks sure to run well again and the booking of Tony Clark catches the eye. Blooming Lucky is from a shrewd yard and ran better than her finishing position suggests last time out. She is worth a cautionary look in the market now she is in selling grade. Love's Design would win this easily on his best form and he showed signs of a mini revival when sixth behind Butrinto last time. The drop back in trip should suit and he could go well at a big price. Of the remainder Peregian could go well having appeared not to stay over a longer trip last time out. Gloaming was behind Sudra last time and there is no reason why he should reverse placings. The remainder need to improve on all known form to take a hand in the finish.
