A competitive field goes to post for this claimer. Essequibo has been in fair form of late and his latest fifth in a handicap behind High Reach gives him every chance now he has dropped back down in grade. He is from a stable in form and he will be hard to beat with conditions in his favour. Tough Nut is also from a stable in top form but his best AW form has come at Wolverhampton and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Fine Frenzy finished in mid-division in a fair handicap over a mile last time out behind Melody Master, doing all his best work at the finish. The drop in grade is sure to suit but the step back in distance could be a problem. Stagnite was a fair fifth behind was fifth behind Mater Rattle last time out over this trip in a better class race. He to is taking a step down in grade and he could go well off what looks a fair mark. Dancing Forest would also be worthy of consideration on her best form but she is still a maiden after 11 starts and was very disappointing last time out. Rockspur was fourth in a seller behind Wensleydale Lad last time out, form which has since e been franked and he is another who could go well at a big price.
