A very competitive field for this maiden. March Alone ran well on his debut this season when third behind Let Me Try Again over course and distance. He has sure to have come on for the run and he will be hard to beat with conditions again in his favour. My Galliano finished just in front of March Alone in that contest but he was race fit on that occasion and March Alone has more scope for improvement. Premier Cheval was eighth in the same race on his race course debut and significant improvement looks likely with the booking of Kieren Fallon catching the eye. Marble Arch was second in the Champion Hurdle at the festival last year and he is no doubt using this as a sharpener before going for that contest again. The Persuader is from a top yard that does well at this track and he has shown a modicum of ability on the turf and he is worth a cautionary look in the market. Of the remainder Sylvan Twister will probably do better in handicaps and the remainder need to improve on all known form to take a hand in the finish.
