      Verdict

Selma can land the finale at the expense of Boracay Dream, Gurrun and Bonnabee, with Bella Miranda best of the rest. Selma appears to be going the right way judged on her two placed efforts against David Loder inmates so far this term. Although she did tend to swish her tail when beaten by Grand Seignour, there is nothing of that calibre in today's line-up, and with the 10 furlongs again in her favour, David Elsworth's filly is taken to make an immediate impact in handicap company. Boracay Dream was behind the selection in the race won by Big Band Music and should again be held although he did improve a bit at Wolverhampton last time. Already successful over a mile here, Gurrun looks as though he needs today's trip and should be staying on stoutly at the finish, while Bonnabee put in an eye catching effort last time on her return from a four-month absence, coming wide into the straight to finish a close third to Terminate. Bella Miranda was fourth in a maiden last time but as she hails from the Loder yard must not be dismissed out of hand. Selma is taken to go one better.
