        Verdict

        A wide open handicap rounds off proceedings. Cressex Katie was a good second behind Indian Steppes at Wolverhampton last time out, and if she handles this surface a reproduction of that form would see her go close. On The Trail has been in fair form of late and was a fair third behind Johnston's Diamond at Southwell last time out. However that horse was beaten under a penalty on Monday. Another Glimpse is also worthy of consideration despite top weight. The gelding was a good third off this mark behind Border Edge last time out over course and distance. If he reproduces that effort he has definite place claims. Dunedin Rascal would also go well on his best form but he was slightly disappointing here eight days ago. Lord Of The East is well in on his best turf form but he has disappointed more than once on this surface. Of the remainder, Coffee Time ran well in a maiden last time out when second behind Zeuss and if that form could be taken literally she is well weighted. However she has disappointed when well fancied on many occasions before.
