This is a wide open handicap in which many can be given chances on their best form. Fulvio was a good second behind Miss Champers last time out at Wolverhampton over seven furlongs. The step up in trip should suit and a reproduction of that effort on this surface would see him go close. Waterline Dancer is another to consider as he is a course winner of a seller over six furlongs. If the step up in trip brings out improvement he could go well at a fair price. Triwan is from a very shrewd yard and is one of the least exposed in the field. The market could prove the best guide as to what is expected from this well bred individual. Senor Pedro won a claimer for Mick Channon over course and distance but he looks badly handicapped for what he has achieved. Edward's Brother showed improved form when third behind Ado in a claimer last time out, but he will need to improve again to win this handicap. However the step up in trip is sure to suit. Promising King is from a yard that has a good strike rate at the track and although he has shown only a modicum of ability on all his runs, it would be no surprise if he was let in lightly for this his handicap debut. Of the remainder Mabel Riley who won a seller in good style last time out could go well as she has placed form in pattern-company on the turf.
