A small but competitive handicap. Humouresque won in good style when defeating Rookwith at Southwell by 15 lengths with plenty in hand. He looks a typical Sir Mark Prescott improver and he could still be well in on this his handicap debut. King Revo rates the main danger as he was a good second behind Californian on this course last time out, a reproduction of that effort would see him go close but he does not have as much scope for improvement as Humouresque. Laggan Bay is also worthy of consideration as he was a good second behind Satlecom last time out and that horse has won and ran well in defeat since. Let Me Try Again has shown enough in maidens on turf to suggest he can win a handicap but he has no experience of this surface and that might count against him in this tight affair. A Beetoo was behind King Revo last time out and there is no reason why he should reverse the placings on the same terms. Miss You was a staying on second behind Whippasnapper last time out over seven furlongs this longer trip will suit, but this is a tougher race. In Tune and Bishops Finger need to improve on their latest form to take a hand in the finish.
