Shaded Edge gets a narrow vote over Forced Upon Us, with Razzano and Willofcourse others that could well figure. Shaded Edge has won two of his last four starts, the latest coming over seven-furlongs here last time. In truth, David Arbuthnot's charge looked beaten with a furlong to go, but knuckled down well to get up and score, and back over today's trip, he looks the one to beat. Forced Upon Us travelled well before being asked to win his race at Kempton 11-days ago, but although coming out on top in the end, did not find as much as expected. He can be taken on, while Razzano, third in a fillies' affair at Catterick last month, has the assistance of Jamie Spencer. Willofcourse was hit by a rival's whip at Wolverhampton, but was only two-lengths off the leaders at the finish, so has to be considered for a place at least, but the selection has to be Shaded Edge.
