A good race and Kasumi is taken to land the spoils at the expense of Baltic Belle and Voliere. Kasumi was far from disgraced when landing a fair third to Blackat Blackitten at Newmarket but she has a fair record on the all-weather surfaces and won well here in June under a canny Travis Block ride. Baltic Belle was in good nick earlier in the season. She has had a slight break and it would be no surprise to see her bounce back to form. Voliere is presently one from one on the artifical tracks. She appeared to enjoy a drop to this trip and is quickly tried again. Hessian won a claimer over course and distance for Michael Bell and isn't out of it off a feather weight. Tender the Great is a likeable mare but she has not been granted an easy time by the handicapper off today's mark of 82. Magical Music landed a big handicap victory in the London Mile at Kempton whilst Rakata has sights lowered after taking on better company. The race of the day on paper and Kasumi looks to have the best claims on the book.
