A tough opener to solve and from a shortlist that comprises Sand Repeal, Go Amwell and My Legal Eagle, our verdict is for the first named. The selection was sent off at a big price over slightly shorter than this trip but that was an encouraging enough effort at Ascot and it could be worth taking a chance at the likely odds. Go Amwell is better known as an all-weather performer. It remains to be seen as to how effective he is on turf and the price could be too short for us to risk finding out. My Legal Eagle is at the pipe and slippers stage of his career but does at least run his race. He is sure to plugging on again at the end. Estate was a useful hurdler on his day but has a few points to prove in relation to this game. Cavallini represents an in-form combination and is watched in the market inspite of some moderate form on the level in the past. Ex-Australian performer, Beaver, could be anything whilst Haatmey is tried again in headgear. Not the best of betting mediums and Sand Repeal is chanced at the likely odds.
