    Verdict

Fringe, Accusation and Fixation look the most likely winners of this prize and we believe Fringe can finally get off the mark. Fringe has had chances to win maidens in the past but she has been unfortunate to run up against superior rivals and there doesn't look to be too much in the way of dangers here. Accusation didn't help her chances at Hamilton by racing a little keenly at the start of the contest. More can be anticipated here. Fixation has been sent off at big odds in the past and has not looked to be the easiest of rides. Meon Mix is bred for much further than this and does not look to be the pick of the Fanshawe stable. Kokkokila has raced too greenly in the past to do herself justice and could be the potential fly in the ointment. The market is duly inspected. A race that doesn't take much winning and Fringe sets the standard.
