Esteem Machine could be the answer to the nightcap although Cape, Idle Power and Burning Incense all have claims. The selection does not have an ideal draw today but he has plenty of headline speed and is able to demonstrate it on this surface. The presence of Kerrin McEvoy has to be considered a big plus. Cape has his own ideas about the game and was despatched out of the James Fanshawe stable. His Haydock run was encouraging given his previous absence and more can be anticipated here. Burning Incense has to be considered to be the class act in this race. He is sure to make another spirited bid from the prize from a reasonable draw. Gift Horse is persevered with in headgear but has become very expensive to follow. Cashel Mead handles the surface and while she has won over six, this extra furlong could be against her. Idle Power appears best of the rest. A tough getting out stakes and we like Esteem Machine.
