TITAN TRIUMPH is only 2lbs higher than when successful at Great Leighs last month and, in the hope that he can reproduce the form that he showed that day here, he gets the verdict ahead of Carmenero and Ivory Lace. The last mentioned showed improved form here over seven furlongs last time and he has to be respected on that evidence. Karl Burke's Sam's Cross has dropped to a fair mark and showed signs of a return to form here last month so he has to be respected. The Terry Mills-trained Murrin has been running respectably well and should again be thereabouts, while Gary Moore's Smokey Rye has more to do than when successful in a claimer here last time. Willie Muir's Carmenero has done little wrong of late and has to be respected but he is probably better over seven furlongs rather than today's trip of a mile and a better bet looks to be Titan Triumph.
