Loua shaped well on his Haydock debut 12 days ago, and is the one to beat in the opener, with Surf City, Supreme Kiss and Fortress taken to give him most to do. Loua only went down in a battle of heads on his Haydock introduction 12 days ago, and if they go a decent pace here, the son of Lujain should have no problem opening his account. He still holds an entry in the Gimcrack at York next month, and although he might not be good enough at present to line up there, he should certainly have the class to beat this lot. Surf City is one of four newcomers and is entered in a couple of big sales races this autumn. He would not have to be anything special to take a hand, but fellow debutante Fortress will need further on breeding. Supreme Kiss has already got plenty of experience, but is exposed, and Loua should prove best.
