Verdict
Rosapenna gets a narrow vote over Moon Bird, with Manic, Anfield Dream and Pamir not out of things, Rosapenna ran really well to be second on only her second visit here in April, having been nibbled at in the market in the morning, and Christian Wall's filly has since won easily at Catterick. Her very latest outing seven days ago was also at the Yorkshire track where she had much the worst of the draw, so to finish as close as she did in third was a good effort. With that in mind, she has plenty going for her today and should go close. Moon Bird will be a popular choice as well, dropping back to a more suitable trip, indeed she was a course and distance maiden winner in April. Manic has been threatening to get back to winning ways of late, and this beaten favourite at Leicester is another to consider along with Anfield Dream, although he has to give weight away all round. Pamir looked a bit devoid of pace at Nottingham but will at least be fit enough now, and can also be added to the list, but the one with the best claims of all is Rosapenna.
