PARK LANE is the selection with Dalradian and Westlin' Winds as the alternatives. Barry Hills' charge had finished in midfield in the big October Auction Stakes at Newmarket though had demonstrated a degree of ability when finishing second in a decent contest at Goodwood. Dalradian was fourth in a Novice stakes at Lingfield at the back end of last season. He gave the impression there could be more to come. Westlin' Winds pedigree suggests that he could be better for slightly further. Connections have been notably patient with their charge and the market has to be accordingly monitored. Mystic Touch should have learnt plenty from his debut in January and went into a number of notebooks as a consequence. Bennozo Gozzoli did not shape with too much promise on the fibresand at Southwell and it is to be hoped that the switch to polytrack makes a difference. American bred, Michael Laskey would be of interest if the market speaks in his favour. The remainder have not exactly distinguished themselves on the racecourse. Park Lane is the call in a race where a number have room for improvement.
