SABRE LIGHT is our pick with Jake The Snake and Beat The Odds respected. The controversial gelding was somewhat below par at Wolverhampton last time out but he has exhibited decent form at Lingfield and were he able to return to those levels, it would be no surprise to see him back to winning ways. Jake The Snake has struck up a good partnership with three victories in six rides. His last success over a mile was fairly emphatic and as a fairly flexible individual, the step up in trip probably will not be a major problem. Beat The Odds recently won a race at Pisa on heavy going. A winner of five starts from 19 on the turf; he could be anything and the market has to be watched. Gold Rock was easy to back on British debut and may be flattered by his rating. Love Angel has blotted her copybook under National Hunt rules and steps back to the flat. Mystic Art made light work of a first drop into plating company and that was a very fair effort given that it had followed a three month absence. Rapid City is exposed. Sabre Light is the pick in a race where many have obvious chances.
