The market will tell us plenty in this affair and HEADING EAST is an interesting participant in this contest with Rupestrian and Mohanad the others to make appeal. Kevin Ryan's charge was thought of as being useful during his juvenile career with entries made in the Racing Post Trophy and the Royal Lodge. There is an absence to overcome since August 2008 but if he retains his ability, he should go close. Rupestrian is now eligible for handicaps but sticks amongst the maidens for now. This stiffer task in terms of distance is likely to suit but he has front run previously. Mohanad may be somewhat flattered by his current BHA rating. The decision to step up in trip does not seem the most obvious move on paper. Dalrymple was beaten in claiming grade and faces a tougher assignment. El Bravo boasted improved form at Lingfield. It wouldn't be the biggest of surprises were he to go on again. Wild Lyph's half-sister was a previous winner over the trip so watch the market. Milemilia is the sort who arguably will improve for further still. Heading East is a selection made with some reservation but this is a race that will be producing a couple of individuals of note.
