Matsunosuke needs a little luck in running sometimes but could not have been any easier a winner than when successful at Wolverhampton at the beginning of the month and he is taken to defy the 6lb penalty here and follow up at the main expense of Texas Gold and Osiris Way. The last mentioned has been given a break since his latest effort when a creditable third on a soft surface at Chepstow and it will be interesting to see how he performs back on the Polytrack. Fromsong is capable but, along with Brendan Powell's Who's Winning, may just be a shade high in the weights at present. Willie Muir's Tony The Tap has run better in his last two starts and has claims, although stablemate Texas Gold looks the pick of his two runners having slipped to a decent mark. Matsunosuke was an impressive looking winner last time though and he can win again.
